STAND ALONE POWER SYSTEMS
Stand alone power systems are usually located where there is no connection to, or at a great distance to the mains electricity or you simply have a preference for a self-sufficient power system.
On a remote or country property, it is often more economical to install a standalone power system than to connect to the grid. You can then free yourself up from ongoing electrical bills or expensive diesel bills if you already run off a generator, and your power is clean by remaining off grid.
